Skin treatment guide

Microneedling treatment in Manchester.

Microneedling creates controlled skin punctures. Device depth, sterility, diagnosis and practitioner training matter more than the treatment name.

What is Microneedling?

Standard microneedling and radiofrequency microneedling are different treatments with different costs and risk profiles. They may be discussed for selected texture, acne-scar or skin-quality concerns, often as a course.

What should you consider before treatment?

Active infection, some inflammatory skin conditions, scarring tendency and medicines may alter suitability. Ask whether the device is single-use or appropriately sterilised and what topical products will be applied.

Risks and recovery

Redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, dryness and temporary sensitivity can occur. Infection, pigment change, scarring and flare-ups are possible. Deeper or radiofrequency treatment generally needs more careful assessment and downtime planning.

Questions to ask at a consultation

  • Is this standard or radiofrequency microneedling?
  • What needle depth and course are proposed?
  • How is sterility maintained?
  • What pigment-change risk applies to my skin tone?

How much does Microneedling cost in Manchester?

Around £150–£400 per session

Indicative price for standard treatment; radiofrequency microneedling can cost more. Area, device and course length affect the total. This is a guide, not a quote.
